From the very start, García-Carrión has had a strong international vocation: Bodegas 1890 was founded to meet France’s high demand for Jumilla wine following the phylloxera crisis, which devastated vineyards in the neighbouring country.
Today, García-Carrión’s products are present in 156 countries, making the family business an ambassador for the Spain brand. Through its products, García-Carrión brings our traditional recipes and the distinctive flavours of our country to consumers around the world.

One of the key drivers of this growth is Luciano García-Carrión, Vice President and a member of the fifth generation, who joined the company in 1997 and has always shown a strong interest in sales and international markets.
