Gazpachos and salmorejos

The Spanish Levant is considered the "Garden of Europe" for the volume and quality of the fruits and vegetables it produces year-round. García Carrión has modern plants for processing and packaging gazpacho, salmorejo, and vegetable creams in various formats (cartons, PET bottles, and bag-in-box).

The proximity of the processing plants to the growing areas allows the vegetables to be processed immediately after harvesting. After packaging, they are kept refrigerated throughout all stages of storage, transportation, distribution, and sale, to maintain all the product's qualities.

GAZPACHO

Don Simón gazpachos are produced and packaged in our plants in Almería and Segorbe Castellón. The proximity of the production plants to the growing areas allows the vegetables to be processed immediately after harvesting. Our gazpacho is made with the finest vegetables (tomato, pepper, cucumber, onion, and a little garlic), which are harvested at the right time. These are refreshing and healthy ingredients, with a very low calorie content and high in natural antioxidants. You can find the Traditional Don Simón Gazpacho; the Mild Don Simón Gazpacho, which does not contain onion and to which a little water and breadcrumbs are added, giving it a lighter and creamier texture; and the Organic Don Simón Gazpacho, made exclusively with vegetables from organic farming.

SALMOREJO

Don Simón has been inspired by the traditional recipe for Cordoban salmorejo to expand its range of ready-to-eat refrigerated products. The ingredients in Don Simón salmorejo are fresh tomato, extra virgin olive oil, sherry vinegar, pepper, garlic, and salt. A small amount of water and bread are added to achieve a creamy consistency. Unlike other, thinner gazpachos, salmorejo has a denser texture, ideal for eating with a spoon. Salmorejo is a smooth, healthy, and nutritious first course, rooted in our traditions and made with the finest ingredients of the Mediterranean diet.
