VINEYARD ARNÁIZ
A window into history. A sea of vineyards.
García-Carrión began building its Viña Arnáiz (Vineyard Arnáiz) winery (Haza, Burgos) in 2000, when it started producing wines under the Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin. This winery, built by the famous architect Manuel de la Torre using recycled materials, is a great example of the family business's commitment to sustainability and caring for the environment.
Located in a strategic enclave, it was formerly a fortress belonging to Juana de Haza, a noblewoman from Castile who began planting vineyards at the foot of her fortress. These spread and their fame grew throughout the region due to their extraordinary quality.
Viña Arnáiz combines the latest technology with respect for traditional methods. It combines viticulture 4.0 with traditional wine-making models to offer quality wines under one of the most prestigious designations of origin.
Its 20,000 m² horseshoe-shaped winery has a capacity for 1,000 bottles and almost 6,000 barrels for storing wine made from Tempranillo grapes (Tinta del País), the common denominator of the vineyards of the Ribera del Duero.
In addition, this winery also covers the Rueda and Toro appellations, historic wine-producing areas where it imprints its character and excellent quality on its white and red wines.
JAUME SERRA
The cava overlooking the sea.
Located in a unique setting, atop a hill that slopes gently down to the Mediterranean Sea in Vilanova i la Geltrú (Barcelona), the Jaume Serra winery is surrounded by magical scenery. Come and enjoy a walled estate featuring a beautiful 17th-century farmhouse. Surrounded by vineyards, centuries-old pine trees, stone walls, and the Mediterranean Sea in the background, this farmhouse is well worth a visit.
The winery is surrounded by 125 hectares of vineyards planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Tempranillo, and Chardonnay grapes. It has a production capacity of 60 million bottles of cava and 20 million bottles of wine per year. Jaume Serra has 3,500 American and French oak barrels. It also has fully robotized and automated underground cellars to continue the cava production process.
Jaume Serra is the winery where tradition, technology, and quality come together to offer cava from a family business that has become the leader in the Spanish market.
LOS LLANOS WINERY
The cave of art.
The word “Valdepeñas” is practically synonymous with “wine.” It is the product that unites and identifies us both within and beyond our borders.
The Valdepeñas Wine Route highlights the tourist attractions of the Valdepeñas Designation of Origin production area.
The Los Llanos de Valdepeñas Winery dates back to 1875, its original location, now one of the most prestigious museums in Spain. The winery is equipped with the most advanced winemaking techniques to produce, age, and bottle high-quality wines. The wineries have one of the largest underground caves in the country with a capacity for 30,000 barrels, where the characteristics of the terrain, together with a dry and sunny climate, contribute decisively to the proper development and ripening of the grapes.
The Bodegas Los Llanos caves combine the art of Valdepeñas and the art of wine. Hence the name given to it in 1977, the “CUEVA DEL ARTE” (Cave of Art).
