Selected from Tinta del País vineyards at an altitude of 900 m above sea level facing slightly west, gently undulating and on loamy soils with high carbonate content. Exposed to a wide temperature difference between day and night which allows the fruit to ripen and thicken the skins giving a deep wine with a high influence of the terroir.

The grapes are harvested in mid-October at low temperatures, destemmed and without breaking the grapes are placed in stainless steel tanks where they undergo a pre-fermentative maceration at low temperature for 5 days. During fermentation, delestages are carried out until 2 thirds of the fermentation is completed. When fermentation is finished, a post maceration is carried out by periodically wetting the cap. Malolactic fermentation in American and French oak barrels with subsequent ageing in the same barrels for 24 months. Aged in bottle until its release to the market. Unclarified.
