Jaume Serra is located on top of a hill that slopes gently toward the Mediterranean Sea in Vilanova i La Geltrú (Barcelona). Its origins date back to 1647, with a walled estate from the seventeenth century that served to protect an old fort that, legend has it, contained a passage that connected it to the town.
Today the winery is surrounded by an estate of 125 hectares containing Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Tempranillo and Chardonnay vineyards. The winemaking facilities have a grape production capacity of 5 million kg. with the most modern production and aging systems and a capacity for 20 million bottles of wine per year. It currently houses 3,500 American and French oak barrels used to obtain wines of Crianza, Reserve and Gran Reserve quality.

This wine is made from the grape varietal Chardonnay. After a gentle pressing, the must is fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 16°C, but this process is interrupted to allow the wine to retain some of its natural sugars, giving it its silky, slightly sweet taste.
The nose offers primary aromas, mainly of fruit, with a floral touch. It has a tasty, slightly sweet but elegant and harmonious flavor. It has persistent and pleasant retronasal olfaction.
We recommend serving very cold, between 8 and 10°C.
This wine can be served with pate and fresh and soft cheeses.
